SPECIFICATIONS FOR ONE HOUR ( 60 Minute ) RATED WOODEN FIRE DOORS MANUFACTURED USING INDIGENOUS COMPONENTS

1. Supply of door frames made out of Hard wood of size 120mm x 60mm (nominal ) suitable for mounting shutters of 60 minutes fire rating ,with heat activated intumescent fire seal strips of size 10mm x 4 mm provided in grooves on all three sides of the frame with one coat of approved brand of fire resistant primer.                                                     Rmtr

2. Supply of 50mm thick non-metallic asbestos free fire resistant doors of 60 minutes rating conforming to BS: 476 part 22/IS-3614 Part 2 as per prototype tested and certified at CBRI Roorkee suitable for mounting on door frames as per item No. I. The shutters shall comprise of two non-combustible particle boards sandwiching fire resistant insulation filler, veneered with 4/3mm thick commercial ply veneering on both the faces and hardwood lipping on all the sides with heat activated intumescent fire seal strips of size 10mm x 4mm on all the sides of the shutter except bottom provided in suitable grooves, and one coat of approved brand of fire resistant primer. “Aadhunic/Adtech” Make.                                               Sqmtr

3. Painting with Fire Resistant coating of approved brand to provide Class I surface spread of flame and other properties confirming to BS: 476 part- 6 & 7 and IS 12777 in desired shade including cleaning and preparation of surface complete as per manufacture specifications.                      Sqmtr.
