Light Commercial Interior Door Closer

Although the 121 is small in size, it has a very efficient mechanism, giving it a powerful performance. It has been designed for use on residential or light commercial interior hollow core wooden doors i.e. electrical cupboards, storeroom and office doors. The 121 is not recommended for use on exterior door applications.
The 121 is available as either a strength 3 or 4 closer to suit the most popular range of door sizes. Door closing is hydraulically controlled, with regulators to give the desired speed of closing. The 121 has a precision rack and pinion mechanism, with hydraulic back check and is easily mounted to the surface of door or the top jamb.

Regulating Controls: The 121 has independent regulators to control:
Closing speed - adjustment to control closing swing of door, from approximately 180° to 15°.
Latch speed – separate adjustment to accelerate or decelerate the door from 15° to 0° to either overcome stubborn latch bolts, or cushion the door into the frame.
Material: The 121 is constructed with high quality components, with a pressure die cast aluminium body, and a steel rack and pinion.
Mounting Configuration: The 121 is able to be mounted in three configurations, regular, top jamb and parallel arm mounting. Fixing packs are included for both timber and metal doors. A parallel arm bracket is included as standard for all 121 closers.
Fixing position for all applications allow the door to open to 180°, subject to the use of correct hinges. Fire Rated

The 1461 is a non-handed surface mounted closer designed for use on narrow head frames and top rails. A wide choice of options, mounting accessories and ease of installation offer maximum versatility. The 1461 has been designed to be used on aluminium, hollow metal or wood swinging commercial interior/exterior doors and is ideally suited for hospitals, nursing homes, hostels, shopping centres, commercial buildings, hotels, educational and institutional applications.
